As part of ongoing efforts to provide placed based training, NELHA and several NELHA clients hosted approximately 20 Kealakehe STEM students on November 26. At the NELHA water chemistry laboartory, the students learned how to calibrate temperature indicators and pressure transducers to be deployed in NELHA’s pipelines.  

WHEA will be holding a Kanikaila Jam & Ho’olaule’a this Saturday October 18, 2014. See flyer for details. IMPORTANT: This event has been postponed for two weeks due to storm/hurricane Ana. The event shall take place on November 1st, 2014. Other details on the flyer remain identical.

Hawaii Community College is working with Maui’s Food Innovation Center to bring workshops on food product development and quality assurance to Waimea and Kona. Details are available on the flyer.
