Team Coverall at NELHA

Posted on Nov 26, 2014 in Main

The entire NELHA staff put on hard hats and working gloves to re-skin one of the coveralls in the Research Campus on Thursday November 13. This building will be used for storage for NELHA and its incubator  clients.         This could not have been done without the special NELHA bumblebee task force!!

Construction has not only started on the NELHA Administration Building renovation (and transformation into the NELHA incubator), but the demolition work is in fact almost complete! A quarter of the building is already leased up. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in reserving a space.  2013 November 26, 2104 2015

Gerald Heslinga from Indo Pacific Sea Farms at NELHA is the father of giant clam farming which he developed in Palau at the Micronesian Mariculture Demonstration Center starting in the 1970s. His recent TEDx Kmuela presentation does a great job explaining sustainable aspects and economic benefits of giant clam farming.
