The County of Hawaiʻi’s Office of the Mayor hosted a free virtual Sustainability Summit on March 4^th & 5^th, 2021, with the intent of bringing bright minds together to explore and share sustainable ideas and solutions, and to celebrate individuals and collaborative sustainability efforts currently happening in Hawaiʻi County. The keynote presentations took place at NELHA’s Hale Iako building on Thursday, March 4 and at UH Hilo on Friday, March 5. There were also 14 breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics in sustainability.
