NELHA annual and biennial reports going back to 1974 are available through the NELHA website. Special thanks to Lee Fausak, formerly from CEROS (Center of Excellence in Research for Ocean Sciences) at NELHA for compiling and making the documents available.

The NELHA meteorological station, funded by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory,  first started operations on November 1st, 2012. The first annual report is now available online. The report describes last year’s meteorological data set and confirms that Keahole Point receives as much yearly solar irradiance as the southwestern desert of the United States.

NELHA is starting the year with two new hires: Dr. Alex Leonard to serve as Administrative and Projects Coordinator and Dean Towle to serve as Operations Supervisor.
