Ironman Brown Bag Talk Story

August 5 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Following a three-year hiatus, the IRONMAN World Championship, which is the Ironman pinnacle event, is expected to have two days of racing. The 2022 Supersapiens IRONMAN World Championship is expected to see approximately 5,000 athletes racing. The race days include an expanded women’s professional field on Thursday, October 6, and professional men racing on Saturday, October 8. A portion of the marathon course passes on both days through HOST Park.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss that this is the first time the race will be held inside HOST Park during a weekday.  In the past, it has only been in HOST Park on Saturday. We understand that having the race inside HOST Park could be problematic unless we address traffic flow. As such, we are scheduling a talk story with NELHA businesses to present what the race organizers have produced regarding a proposed adapted traffic pattern for race days.

For those who will not attend in person, Zoom details have been forwarded by email to all HOST Park clients.
